Thank you for taking a look at some of the works I've had the chance to put out there!

The morphogenesis of all materiality in the natural world, stems from the  layering of different particles and elements interacting together at different levels . This interaction is governed by laws that are either inscribed within these particles, behaving within self created boundaries. Or within boundaries imposed by a governing body, or a combination of both.

Born in 1987,in Beirut Lebanon. I started refining my art practice since 2012 after a Bachelor in Business from AUB and 3 years of studies in Interior Architecture and Product Design at ALBA.

Attracted to the language of time,i spent much time exploring the abandoned infrastructure (usure) and  mountains, forests and sea(erosion, growth) of my country. And i started perceiving a similar structure that underlies all natural evolution,whether the progression of an idea or the growth of an individual  . 

And i got fascinated by the idea of mimicking natural progression in order to obtain a natural aesthetic.
By aesthetics here, is to go deeper than the visual look of something, into the inherent structure , parameters, dynamics and events that lead into something coming together under a certain form.

Which lead me to develop a methodology of work :

To proceed by assemblage of found objects or layers that can interact together  .
To lay down a basic procedure or structure at the the beginning of the process, that joins together impulsive action and rational analysis. And let the elements interact freely within these boundaries.                                                                                                                                                                                     To constantly gauge the amount of control to exercise throughout this progression, and adopt a reactive  approach of orchestrating the coming together of the whole .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       To keep an open space for the unexpected, and value it as the oddity that creates the uniqueness of every project or story, the event which gives life to the artwork.

It has opened up intriguing questions to me:

Is there a need to separate God from randomness?
Could we by way of a process penetrate and participate with the natural creation of form, in order to  channel it into realizing our own intentions, while keeping the natural balance.
Where is the equilibrium between human intervention and natural development?
How can we work together?

I value my exploration as a conscious search for a more open relationship with the world. A strive to create with the elements and with others. To learn to channel my efforts in harmony with what life puts on my path. I understand art as experiential, an emotion we can create and live together.

I keep refining this method and try to apply it to a wide variety of projects whether individual or collective. I am now focusing on exploring  how it would translate into more collective works in the form of games and performance..

Besides the kind of projects you can view in the portfolio i also film live performances ,edit videos , sketch intensively and select  world music for a living.
